You will own frontend systems end-to-end — dashboards, configuration consoles, and customer-facing UIs — working at the intersection of modern frontend architecture and AI-first product experiences.

This role requires deep expertise in the React ecosystem, advanced TypeScript, monorepo architecture, and the ability to drive long-term frontend engineering excellence across the team.

What You Will Do Architect & Develop: Design, build,



and ship production-grade React 18+ and Next.js 14+ components and features with high reliability, scalability, and strict TypeScript standards.

Component Library Ownership: Own and publish reusable UI component packages in a Turborepo monorepo — from development through versioning, publishing, and documentation.

Performance Optimisation: Identify and resolve frontend bottlenecks — SSR optimisation, hydration issues, unnecessary re-renders, code splitting, and bundle size reduction.

UI/UX Implementation: Translate Figma designs into pixel-accurate, accessible, and responsive interfaces while partnering closely with designers on every detail.

API & Integration: Collaborate with backend engineers on API contract definitions and integrate REST APIs, WebSockets, and Server-Sent Events (SSE) into frontend systems.

AI-Assisted Development: Configure cursor rules, maintain skill.md files, and integrate MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers to standardise AI-assisted development tooling across the team.

Technical Leadership: Lead code reviews, mentor junior and mid-level engineers, flag technical debt proactively, and champion frontend best practices and documentation standards.

Collaboration & Delivery: Contribute to sprint planning, story point estimations,



and retrospectives as a senior team member.

What We're Looking For 5–9 years of professional frontend engineering experience, with at least 3 years in React and Next.js.

React Internals: Deep understanding of reconciliation, rendering lifecycle, hooks, and memoisation.

TypeScript Proficiency: Strong command of generics, utility types, discriminated unions, strict mode, and advanced type inference.

Monorepo Experience: Hands-on with Turborepo or equivalent monorepo tooling for managing component libraries.

State Management: Solid understanding of Context API and modern server state patterns.

Performance Debugging: Proficiency with browser DevTools, React DevTools, and performance profiling tools.

Documentation Mindset: Clear written and verbal communication — this team treats documentation as a first-class deliverable.

Bonus: Experience with e-commerce/SaaS platforms, npm package publishing, analytics dashboards, AI dev tooling (MCP, cursor rules), or prompt engineering for developer workflows.
