Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Quality Analyst – Automation to lead the transformation of our existing Selenium-based automation framework into a modern, scalable, and maintainable Playwright framework. The ideal candidate brings deep automation expertise, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior QA engineers while driving automation strategy across the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Strategy & Framework Ownership

- Lead migration of automation suites from Selenium/WebDriver to Playwright (TypeScript/Python)

- Architect & maintain automation frameworks

- Identify test coverage gaps and implement automation-first approach

- Build reusable libraries, utilities, fixtures, and page objects using Playwright

Test Planning & Execution

- Own automation planning, scoping, estimates, and prioritization

- Develop E2E, Functional, API, Regression & Cross-browser automation

- Integrate test suites into CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)

- Ensure reliability, flakiness reduction & maintainability

Quality Governance & Collaboration

- Review automation code & enforce best practices





- Collaborate with Dev, DevOps, Product & BA teams for test strategy

- Lead shift-left initiatives & quality engineering mindset

- Drive release readiness, sign-off & quality KPIs

Defect & RCA Support

- Troubleshoot automation failures using advanced debugging

- Assist in RCA for product defects & automation gaps

- Support continuous regression for monthly/quarterly releases

Required Skills & Experience

- 5–8+ years in QA; 3+ years in automation

- Hands-on in Selenium + Playwright (TypeScript preferred)

- Strong understanding of Playwright features (tracing, fixtures, test runner, parallel execution)

- Strong programming in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python

- Experience in API automation – REST/GraphQL

- CI/CD and version control expertise

- Robust debugging and problem‑solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Playwright or K6-based performance testing experience

- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes

- Experience in cloud/browser grids: BrowserStack, LambdaTest

- Agile/Scrum experience
