Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer – Playwright to lead quality engineering activities for the Cornerstone Galaxy migration program. This role will own automation strategy, framework enhancement, end-to-end test design, and release quality assurance across learner journeys, admin workflows, integrations, and data-sensitive learning processes.

Work You’ll Do

· Design, build, and maintain robust UI and end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright.

· Create automated test coverage for critical workflows including learner registration, enrollment, content launch, completions, certifications, compliance tracking, and reporting.

· Validate migrated functionality from Saba and Cura into Cornerstone Galaxy.

· Design and execute regression, smoke, integration, and cross-browser automation suites.

· Collaborate with product, development, integration, and data teams to define acceptance criteria and test strategy.

· Build reusable test utilities, page objects, data-driven frameworks, and CI-integrated execution pipelines.

· Validate APIs, backend workflows, and data flows supporting user journeys and platform integrations.

· Use Python exposure where applicable for test data preparation, utilities, automation support, or validation scripting.

· Analyze defects, perform root-cause investigation, and work with developers to accelerate resolution.

· Track quality metrics, defect leakage, test coverage, and release readiness indicators.





· Mentor junior QA team members and establish automation best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· 6+ years of QA experience with solid focus on test automation.

· Hands-on experience with Playwright for UI and end-to-end automation.

· Strong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript-based automation frameworks.

· Experience validating enterprise web applications, APIs, and integrated workflows.

· Strong understanding of test design, defect management, regression strategy, and release validation.

· Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.

· Ability to work independently, lead test planning, and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.

· Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

· Exposure to Python for automation utilities, data validation, or support scripts.

· Hands-on exposure to AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude for test design acceleration, scripting assistance, and productivity improvement.

· Experience with LMS, HR technology, or enterprise SaaS platform testing.

· Familiarity with accessibility, performance, and cross-browser testing.

· Exposure to API automation and SQL/data validation testing.

Work Environment

· Ability to lead quality efforts in a fast-paced, multi-team environment.

· Comfortable working remotely or in a hybrid model with global stakeholders.
