Job Title: Senior Manager / AGM – Procurement

Reports To: Head of Procurement / Director – Supply Chain

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager / AGM – Procurement will be responsible for strategic sourcing, vendor management, cost optimization, and procurement operations for the hotel properties. The role demands expertise in sourcing F&B; supplies, hotel equipment, furniture & fixtures, housekeeping materials, and operational consumables while ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely availability in line with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Strategy & Planning:

- Develop and implement a robust procurement strategy aligned with the hotel’s operational needs.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiencies without compromising quality.

- Establish robust category management practices for F&B;, housekeeping, engineering, IT, and general hotel supplies.

2. Vendor Management & Negotiation:

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for key categories.

- Negotiate best pricing, payment terms, and contracts to optimize costs.

- Develop long-term partnerships with strategic vendors to ensure consistent supply and service levels.

- Conduct periodic vendor audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.

3. Cost Control & Compliance:

- Monitor procurement budgets and ensure cost control measures.

- Drive cost rationalization through bulk buying, alternate sourcing, and value engineering.

- Ensure adherence to hotel industry standards, legal compliance,



and sustainability goals.

- Implement best practices in procurement governance and risk management.

4. Operational Excellence & Coordination:

- Work closely with F&B;, housekeeping, engineering, finance, and operations teams to understand procurement needs.

- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to avoid disruptions in hotel operations.

- Oversee inventory control and stock management in collaboration with stores.

- Leverage technology & ERP systems to streamline procurement processes.

5. Market Intelligence & Innovation:

- Keep track of market trends, price fluctuations, and emerging suppliers.

- Identify sustainable and eco-friendly procurement options.

- Drive digital procurement transformation and automation for efficiency gains.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

- Education: MBA / PG in Supply Chain, Procurement, or related fields preferred.

- Experience: 10-15 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in hospitality procurement (preferably in luxury hotels).

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong negotiation & vendor management skills.

- Deep understanding of hospitality procurement processes.

- Knowledge of import/export regulations, taxation, and legal compliance in procurement.

- Experience in using ERP systems for procurement management.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
