We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Engineer with strong knowledge of inspection, testing, fabrication processes, and quality management systems. The candidate will be responsible for managing incoming, in-process, and pre-dispatch inspections, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, and maintaining quality documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct incoming inspection of raw materials (sheet, coil, pipe, tube, angle, channel, GI materials, etc.).

- Perform in-process and pre-dispatch inspection (PDI) of fabricated, painted, and coated items.

- Verify Supplier MTCs and ensure compliance with IS/ISO/ASTM standards.

- Handle customer complaints using CAPA and 8D methodology.

- Review engineering drawings, ECNs, and quality documents (QAP, SOP, PFD, OPL).

- Perform lab testing (UTM, hardness, spectrometer, chemical & mechanical testing).





- Ensure calibration of measuring and testing equipment.

- Monitor fabrication and welding quality, defect analysis, and control.

- Maintain ISO 9001:2015 documentation and compliance.

Requirements

- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.

- Robust knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication, welding, painting, and galvanizing processes.

- Familiarity with IS, ISO, ASTM standards relevant to manufacturing processes.

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP.

- Good communication skills (written and verbal).

- Strong analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and decision-making approach.

- Professional appearance and presentation skills.
