As a Senior Dot Net Developer you will design, develop and deliver robust enterprise applications using .NET Core and related Microsoft technologies. You will take technical ownership of key modules, collaborate with product,QA and DevOps teams and ensure high standards of code quality, performance and reliability. You will contribute to architectural decisions, provide technical guidance and help foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Exposure to AI-enabled application development, intelligent automation, and integration of AI services into enterprise solutions will be an added advantage.

Essential Functions / Deliverables

Product Knowledge & Domain Familiarisation

- Deeply understand core modules and third-party integrations.

- Maintain technical documentation and architecture maps.

- Participate in sprint demos and client presentations.

- Collaborate with Product Managers and UI/UX teams.

.NET Application Development & Lifecycle Ownership

- Design and develop scalable applications using .NET

Core, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, and Entity Framework.

- Participate in estimation and sprint planning.

- Own the lifecycle of assigned modules—from planning to deployment and maintenance.

- Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.

- Deliver multiple user stories independently.

Architectural Design & Advanced Debugging

- Contribute to the architectural design of complex,

scalable, and maintainable .NET solutions.

- Apply and advocate architectural standards and patterns

(e.g., layered, microservices, domain-driven design).

- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies,

frameworks, and tools.

- Demonstrate advanced debugging skills to identify,

analyse, and resolve complex issues across the application stack.

- Utilise advanced debugging tools and techniques (e.g.,

Visual Studio Diagnostics, memory profiling, performance tracing, log analysis)

to ensure system reliability and performance.

- Promote root cause analysis and continuous improvement in code quality and system stability.

Performance Optimisation & Quality Assurance

- Perform code reviews and refactor legacy code.

- Enforce best practices and maintain code quality.

- Integrate with tools like SonarQube for code analysis.

- Implement and maintain unit and integration tests.

- Analyse and resolve performance bottlenecks.





- Translate business requirements into technical deliverables.

CI/CD & Workflow Automation

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

- Automate build, test, and deployment processes.

- Integrate monitoring and logging tools.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Troubleshooting

- Collaborate with designers, product managers, QA,

backend, and DevOps teams.

- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and bug triaging.

- Troubleshoot issues across the stack.

Technical Documentation & Agile Estimation

- Document technical solutions, architecture, and dependencies.

- Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

- Prioritise tasks, track milestones, and mitigate risks.

- Maintain release notes and change logs.

Communication & Mentorship

- Support and mentor junior developers.

- Share knowledge and best practices.

- Demonstrate proactive problem-solving and adaptability.

- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

Additional Technical Competencies

- Apply architectural patterns (OOP, SOLID, Clean

Architecture).

- Manage threading, async programming, and data access.

- Ensure secure and productive data handling.

- Mastery of C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework.

- Dependency Injection.

- Security best practices and performance tuning.

- Experience with IIS and Git.

Cloud & Hosting Experience

- Deploy, configure, and manage applications on Microsoft

Azure (preferred), including Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Functions,

and Azure DevOps for CI/CD.

- Host .NET applications on IIS, including configuration,

deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

- Exposure to containerisation (Docker) and orchestration

(Kubernetes) is a plus.

- Set up and manage environments for development,

staging, and production.

Requirements

Education : Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent relevant experience

Bachelor’s in computer science, Information Technology, or related technical degree

Equivalent practical experience is acceptable

Deep knowledge of .NET development frameworks and principles

Strong understanding of modern design patterns and software architecture

Ability to build robust, scalable, and secure applications

Capable of leading development efforts and mentoring junior team members

Effective cross-functional collaboration and agile project participation

Awareness of AI concepts, intelligent automation, and practical integration of AI services into enterprise software solutions

Technical/Computer Skills : C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework (DB First), SQL, REST APIs, MVC, MVVM, OOP, SOLID principles, Dependency Injection, IIS, automated testing, AI/ML integration fundamentals, REST-based consumption of AI services, prompt engineering basics, and experience integrating Azure AI/OpenAI or similar AI APIs into enterprise applications

Professional competencies :

Preferred work exposure : Cloud (AWS), Frontend (Angular, TypeScript), Responsive Design (HTML5, CSS), DevOps/CI-CD, AI-enabled application development, chatbot/integration experience, and familiarity with Azure AI Services, OpenAI APIs, or similar intelligent automation platforms.
