The Sales & Service Coordinator will be responsible for supporting sales activities and coordinating service operations related to marine Navigation and Communication

(NavCom) products and services.

The role involves identifying business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, coordinating service attendance, preparing quotations, and ensuring timely support to clients within the maritime industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for marine

Navigation and Communication (NavCom) products and services.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with ship owners, ship managers,

shipyards, o(shore companies, and fleet operators.

- Promote and sell marine electronic systems such as Inmarsat-C, GMDSS, VDR, AIS,

GPS, Radar, ECDIS, Gyro Compass, and other bridge/navigation equipment.

- Conduct vessel visits, customer meetings, and technical discussions to understand client requirements and provide suitable technical and commercial solutions.
- Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals, quotations, tenders, and service o(ers in a timely manner.
- Follow up on enquiries, negotiate commercial terms, and support the closure of sales opportunities and service contracts.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term cooperation.
- Coordinate with service engineers, suppliers, and technical teams for project execution, onboard attendance, installation, commissioning, and after-sales support.
- Monitor equipment lifecycle and compliance data such as battery expiry dates,

annual survey due dates, software status, and certification validity to generate service and replacement opportunities.

- Maintain regular communication with principals, OEMs, agents, and subcontractors regarding service coordination and spare parts support.
- Stay updated with maritime industry trends, class regulations, IMO/SOLAS requirements,



and emerging technologies in marine Navigation & Communication systems.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, quotations,

forecasts, and service coordination reports using company systems and documentation procedures.

- Support emergency service coordination and provide prompt customer assistance whenever required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Electronics, Marine Engineering, Electrical

Engineering, or related field.

- 2–5 years of experience in marine electronics/NavCom sales or service (preferred).
- Robust technical knowledge of marine navigation and communication systems.
- Good understanding of IMO/SOLAS regulations and survey requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel for vessel visits and client meetings.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
