As a Workday Finance Consultant at Clovio Consulting, you will leverage your expertise in the Workday Finance module to guide clients through the implementation and optimisation of Workday’s financial management solutions. Your role will involve working directly with business leaders to understand their finance requirements, configure and implement Workday solutions, and provide ongoing support to ensure the finance operations are seamless, efficient, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Consulting & Requirements Gathering:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, processes, and goals related to financial management, including accounting, financial planning, and analysis, procurement, and reporting.

- Conduct workshops and discussions with clients to map their needs to Workday Finance functionalities.

Workday Finance Implementation & Configuration:

- Lead the configuration of Workday Financial Management modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Procurement, and Financial Reporting.

- Assist in the integration of Workday with other business applications (e.g., HR, Supply Chain, Payroll) to ensure a seamless end-to-end business process.

- Configure financial structures, accounting rules, security, reporting hierarchies, and other system parameters to meet the client’s requirements.

System Testing & Quality Assurance:

- Perform unit testing, integration testing,



and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the Workday configuration is aligned with the client’s needs.

- Identify and resolve issues and discrepancies during testing and go-live phases.

Training & Support:

- Provide hands-on training to clients and end-users on the Workday Financial Management system to ensure they are proficient in its use.

- Offer post-implementation support and troubleshooting to ensure the smooth running of financial operations.

Continuous Improvement

- Proactively identify opportunities for clients to improve their financial processes through optimising their use of Workday.

- Stay updated on new Workday releases, features, and industry trends to advise clients on improvements and best practices.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5 - 8 years of experience in Workday Finance implementations, with a focus on modules such as General Ledger, Procurement, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and Financial Reporting.

- Experience in configuring and supporting Workday Financial Management or similar ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

- Workday Finance certification is mandatory.

- Solid understanding of finance processes and accounting principles (e.g., GL, reconciliation, budgeting).

- Familiarity with Workday report writing, business processes, and integrations.

- Basic knowledge of integration tools such as Workday Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), or iPaaS (integration platform as a service) is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships, facilitate workshops, and deliver training.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
