● Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment

● Train clinicians and other personnel on the proper use of equipment

● Servea coordinating function, using their background in both engineering and medicine.

● To be responsible for the maintenance & Training

● To maintain all the equipment's in the hospital.

● To identify strategic points/places in the hospital to fix the equipment.

● To maintain the documents as required.

● To continually train the team on bio-medical engineering aspects.

● To maintain the quality records(As per NABH & JCI) of all the equipment

● To present the records for audit purposes

● To incorporate all observations raised in audit and to
