About the Role:

Looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure APIM Engineer who will possess deep expertise in Azure API Management and modern DevOps practices, with a strong focus on automation, security, performance, and scalable API lifecycle management in a cloud-native environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design, deploy, and manage APIs using Azure API Management (APIM)
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for APIM resources
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
- Configure API security mechanisms including OAuth2, JWT, API Keys, mTLS, and Azure AD authentication
- Set up monitoring and logging using Grafana, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or ELK Stack
- Apply rate limiting, throttling, and policy enforcement for robust API governance
- Manage Azure networking for API endpoints, including load balancing and traffic management
- Oversee full API lifecycle management, versioning, documentation, and governance
- Automate operations using PowerShell, Bash, and other scripting tools
- Optimize API performance through caching, request routing, and failover strategies





Primary Skills Required:

- Azure API Management (APIM) Design, configuration, deployment

Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in cloud/API engineering roles
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
