Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Public Equity Analyst with 10 to 15 years of experience to join our dynamic investment team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of equity markets, strong analytical capabilities, and a passion for identifying attractive investment opportunities. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Public Equity Analyst will play a critical role in conducting fundamental research, generating investment recommendations, and monitoring portfolio performance.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-depth analysis of public companies across various sectors, with a focus on identifying investment opportunities that align with our investment objectives and risk parameters.

- Utilize a combination of qualitative and quantitative techniques to assess company financials, industry dynamics, competitive positioning, and management quality.

- Develop and maintain detailed financial models, including earnings forecasts, valuation analysis, and scenario analysis.

- Monitor macroeconomic trends, market developments,



and regulatory changes to inform investment decisions and mitigate risks.

- Generate investment recommendations based on rigorous research and analysis, presenting findings to the investment committee and senior management.

- Collaborate with portfolio managers and other members of the investment team to optimize portfolio construction and asset allocation.

- Monitor and evaluate portfolio holdings on an ongoing basis, providing regular updates and performance reports to stakeholders.

- Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in equity research and investment management, continuously enhancing analytical capabilities and industry knowledge.

Qualifications:

- CA, CFA, MBA, or other relevant professional qualifications preferred.

- 10 to 15 years of experience in equity research, investment analysis, or related roles, preferably with exposure to Indian equity markets.

- Deep understanding of financial statement analysis, valuation techniques, and investment principles.

- Robust quantitative skills, including proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

- Demonstrated passion for investing, with a commitment to excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Requirements
