Designation: Senior Accounts Executive – UK Accounting

Shift Timing: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Shift timing may vary during daylight saving)

Job Location: Drive-In Road, Ahmedabad (WORK FROM OFFICE ONLY)

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Senior Accountant to join a stable and growing client base in the UK. This role involves managing company accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT

returns, payroll matters, bookkeeping, and accounts finalization while ensuring full compliance with UK tax authorities and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical abilities, detailed financial review

expertise, and hands-on experience in UK accounting practices.

Responsibilities

* Completion of year-end accounts, month-end accounts, and Corporation Tax Returns

* Managing bookkeeping activities and accounts finalization in compliance with UK accounting standards

* Ensuring adherence to VAT rules and regulations while handling VAT-related transactions

* Co-ordination and management of payroll, VAT, and general administration duties

* Meeting statutory deadlines for VAT, Payroll, Accounts, Company, and Personal Tax Returns

* Reviewing financial statements and financial records in detail to ensure accuracy and compliance





* Ensuring business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles

* Managing client relationships to build robust rapport, client loyalty, and satisfaction

* Working closely with team members to assist with month-end close activities

* Assisting with the annual audit process, including drafting financial statements and related notes

Requirements

Key Experience

* Qualified accountant with at least 2–5 years of experience delivering accounts to UK-based clients

Strong experience in bookkeeping and accounts finalization

Thorough understanding of VAT rules and regulations

* Ability to review financials in detail and identify discrepancies or compliance issues

* Experience working with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, CCH, or IRIS Accounting software

* Experience preparing financial statements and corporation tax returns

* Experience managing relationships with small business clients

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

2+ years of UK accounting experience

2+ years of professional accounting experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience
