The Senior SAP HANA Master Data Governance Functional role is crucial to our organization as it entails managing and governing the master data within the SAP HANA environment. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Master Data Governance (MDG) implementation projects
- Oversee the design, configuration, and deployment of MDG processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define business requirements
- Develop data governance strategies and policies to ensure data integrity and compliance
- Provide expertise in data management standards and best practices
- Identify and resolve data quality issues and process gaps
- Participate in data migration and integration activities
- Conduct data analysis and reporting to support business decisions
- Train and mentor junior team members in SAP HANA MDG
- Stay updated with the latest SAP HANA and MDG developments
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and budget
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and challenges
- Support continuous improvement in data governance processes
- Participate in user acceptance testing and deployment activities
- Document and maintain MDG procedures and guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in SAP HANA Master Data Governance
- Demonstrated expertise in data modeling and data governance principles
- Strong understanding of data management and data quality frameworks
- Proficiency in SAP MDG configuration and customization
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with data migration and integration tools
- Certification in SAP HANA and MDG is a plus
- Proven track record of leading MDG implementation projects
- Deep understanding of business processes and data requirements
- Knowledge of SAP modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD is advantageous
- Experience with data governance tools and practices
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and energetic environment
