Overview

The SAP CO (Controlling) plays a crucial role in leveraging financial data for strategic decision-making within the organization. This role encompasses overseeing various aspects of management accounting, cost center accounting, profitability analysis, and financial reporting to ensure the efficient utilization of resources and optimization of processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP CO solutions
- Configure SAP CO modules and ensure seamless integration with SAP ERP
- Oversee cost center accounting activities, including planning, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Conduct profitability analysis to provide insights into product and customer profitability
- Manage project systems integration and ensure accurate project accounting
- Develop and maintain financial reporting solutions using SAP CO-PA
- Provide functional support and enhance SAP CO functionalities to meet evolving business needs
- Participate in SAP CO module upgrades and implementations
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiencies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and support change management processes




- Participate in testing and quality assurance activities for SAP CO
- Resolve issues and provide ongoing support for SAP CO-related matters
- Document processes, procedures, and system configurations
- Stay updated with SAP CO best practices and industry trends

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or relevant field
- Minimum of X years of experience in implementing and supporting SAP CO
- Proficiency in SAP CO module configuration and customization
- Strong understanding of management accounting principles and practices
- Experience with cost center accounting, profitability analysis, and project systems
- In-depth knowledge of SAP FI integration with SAP CO
- Ability to translate business requirements into SAP CO solutions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Certification in SAP CO is preferred
- Experience in conducting end-user training and change management activities
- Familiarity with SAP ERP and its modules
- Knowledge of financial reporting tools and techniques
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and internal control requirements
