We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and enhance ABAP programs, forms, and reports to meet business requirements. You'll be responsible for customizing and configuring SAP systems using the ABAP programming language, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the seamless integration of ABAP programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- ABAP Development: Design, develop, and enhance ABAP programs, forms, and reports to meet business needs.

- Customization & Configuration: Customize and configure SAP systems using ABAP.

- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ABAP programs and integrations.

- Hands-on Experience: Work with ALV, BAPI, BADI, AMDP, CDS, OData Services, and WRICEF.

- S/4 HANA Projects: Apply your experience with S/4 HANA in project settings.

- Certification: ABAP certification is preferred.

Requirements

Project Management:

- Task Planning: Plan and prioritize ABAP development tasks, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to project milestones.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and estimate effort for ABAP projects.

- Risk Management: Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.





System Maintenance and Performance Optimization:

- System Monitoring: Perform regular system monitoring, analysis, and tuning to optimize ABAP performance.

- Patches & Upgrades: Apply patches, upgrades, and enhancements to SAP systems, ensuring stability and security.

- Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews and enforce coding best practices to maintain high-quality development standards.

Documentation and Training:

- Technical Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including program specifications, user guides, and release notes.

- Training: Provide training and knowledge transfer sessions to end-users and team members on ABAP-related topics.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, trends, and best practices to drive innovation.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Industry Experience: Candidates from manufacturing/automobile industries are preferred but not mandatory.

- SAP Certification: SAP ABAP certification is a plus but not required.

- S/4 HANA Experience: Understanding and experience with S/4 HANA is mandatory, as our customer is implementing the S/4 HANA version of SAP.
