About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead and expand our Ocean & Air Import/Export vertical. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in international freight forwarding, a proven sales track record, and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and business development for ocean and air import/export services.
- Identify and acquire recent clients while nurturing existing accounts.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure service excellence.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations.
- Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations to senior management.
Requirements:
- 5–10 years of experience in sales within the freight forwarding/logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of ocean and air import/export operations.
- Established network of clients and industry contacts.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
