We are seeking a skilled and innovative Robotics Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement robotic systems that enhance productivity and efficiency within our aerospace and defence projects.
Responsibilities
âDesign and Develop Robotic Systems: Create detailed plans and designs for robotic systems using CAD tools.
âTesting and Troubleshooting: Conduct quality control and function tests to gauge performance, and determine causes of malfunctions and errors.
âIntegration: Integrate robotic systems with existing aerospace and defence machinery and processes.
âProgramming: Program robots or robotic systems to perform required tasks.
âDocumentation: Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
âCollaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical,
electrical, and safety engineers.
âTraining: Provide technical support and training to staff on the safe and efficient operation of robotic systems.
âResearch:
Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotic technology and incorporate them into designs.
Qualifications
âEducation: Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical
Engineering, or a related field.
âExperience: Proven experience in designing and developing robotic systems,
preferably in the aerospace and defence industry.
âSkills:
oStrong knowledge of CAD tools.
oProgramming languages (e.g., C++, Python).
oProficiency with simulation software such as Siemens NX, ANSYS, CATIA,
Solid Edge, and PTC Creo.
oFamiliarity with development boards like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Jetson
Orin, and FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) boards.
oProblem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
oExcellent communication skills for documentation and collaboration.
