Role Description This is a full time, on-site Intern role based in Surat. The intern will support the editorial and research teams by monitoring news developments, collecting and verifying information, and assisting in drafting and formatting articles. Responsibilities include basic fact-checking, organizing data and sources, preparing briefs for senior writers and editors,



and helping with content scheduling and coordination. The role may also involve updating website content, supporting social media posts, and assisting with administrative tasks related to newsroom operations.
Qualifications
Strong interest in current affairs, governance, finance, and international news, with an India-first analytical mindset.
Ability to conduct structured research, verify information from multiple sources, and summarize complex topics clearly.
Solid written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of additional Indian languages is an advantage.
Basic familiarity with digital tools (office productivity software, online research tools, and social media platforms).
Attention to detail, ability to follow editorial guidelines, and commitment to unbiased, logic-driven reporting.
