Job Purpose
To lead and drive the Pan-India Agri Spare Parts business, including sales strategy, dealer/distributor network expansion, aftermarket growth, revenue generation, market penetration and team development. The role will be responsible for building a robust spare-parts channel and delivering sustainable business growth across India.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the Pan-India sales strategy for Agri spare parts.
Lead the complete spare-parts sales and aftermarket business.
Develop, expand and strengthen dealer, distributor and retailer networks across India.
Identify new markets and appoint channel partners to increase market penetration.
Drive primary and secondary sales and achieve annual,
quarterly and monthly sales targets.
Develop strategies to increase genuine spare-parts penetration and aftermarket revenue.
Lead, mentor and manage the spare-parts sales team across regions.
Set regional targets, review performance and ensure achievement of business objectives.
Build strong relationships with key dealers, distributors, retailers and major customers.
Monitor competitor pricing, products, schemes, market trends and channel activities.
Develop market-wise sales plans, forecasts and business expansion strategies.
Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Logistics, Finance and Service teams for smooth order execution and product availability.
Monitor inventory, demand forecasting and product availability to minimize stock-outs and slow-moving inventory.
Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from channel partners.
Develop dealer incentive schemes, sales promotions and channel activation programs.
