The Regional Safety Officer will be responsible for managing, overseeing & auditing Safety in Pre-K franchise centers for their respective geography.

Individual Contributor role.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Carry out Monthly inspection of centre classroom room and premises.

- Carry out Monthly hazard identification, analyzing, planning and taking corrective action.

- Check for pathway to be obstacle free and Emergency signage are displayed in the premises.

- Ensure Fire Extinguishers are easily accessible, refilled & available at all locations.

- Ensure Restricted signage is displayed outside the server room/electrical room

- Carry out Monthly inspection for cleanliness, electrical safety and compliance, water purifier, transportation, CCTV and GPS system, Fire suppression system, waste Management.

- Checking Washroom Cleaning materials are kept away from Children. o Ensuring Quarterly Pest Control. o Daily Inspection of School before closing and maintaining Centre Closure checklist.

- Training of Drivers and attendants on Health & Safety and Emergency Response during transit.





- Daily review of Parents Transport Complain Register and resolution of complain if any. o Safety training for staff is identified, undertaken and recorded to ensure staff is competent to carry out their work in a safe manner.

- Check if Contractors appointed for various activities are provided with the necessary induction training and the activities carried out by them are inherently safe and without any risk to themselves or to the students and the staff

- Assist the Partner/Centre Head to ensure all Safety processes are implemented in the Centre.

- Bring to the notice of Centre Head of any deviations and violations of safety rules and regulations.

- Ensure induction training is carried out for recent joinees (Teachers, School Bus Driver & Attendant, Housekeeping Staff and Security Guards) and records maintained. o Ensure electrical checks are carried out periodically.

- Carrying out Risk Assessment regularly. o Carry out monthly inspection of Health & Safety infrastructure for any loose wire, broken furniture’s, broken and sharp edges and walls etc.

- Ensure First Aid Box is kept with all contents within date of expiry. o Competent staff nominated to guide the police, ambulance and fire department for any firefighting or rescue mission.

Requirements

Experience and Qualification:

Essential

- Post Graduate/Advance Diploma in Health & Safety.

- 6-8 years of experience in Safety & - Security.

- Vendor Management - Stakeholder management

- Co-ordination - Ownership Mindset

- Commercial & Cost Acumen

Desirable

- Preferably from School/Education Background

- Experience of managing safety/security in Real
