The Recruitment Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire recruitment process,
from identifying hiring needs to on boarding new hires. This role involves developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies, managing a team of recruiters, and ensuring that the company attracts and retains the best talent. The Recruitment Manager will work closely with department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure that recruitment goals are met.
Key Responsibilities
1.Recruitment Strategy Development:
oDevelop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
oAnalyse current recruitment trends and make recommendations for improvements.
oWork with senior management to align recruitment strategies with company goals and objectives.
2.Team Management:
oLead and manage the recruitment team, providing guidance, training, and support.
oSet performance targets and conduct regular performance reviews for the recruitment team.
oFoster a positive and collaborative team environment.
3.Candidate Sourcing:
oUtilize various sourcing methods to attract candidates, including job boards,
social media, career fairs, and employee referrals.
oDevelop and maintain relationships with universities, professional organizations, and other sources of potential candidates.
oImplement innovative sourcing techniques to reach a diverse candidate pool.
4.Selection Process:
oOversee the screening, interviewing, and selection process for all open positions.
oEnsure that all candidates are evaluated fairly and consistently.
oDevelop and implement assessment tools and techniques to improve the selection process.
5.Employer Branding:
oPromote the company as an employer of choice through various branding initiatives.
oDevelop and maintain a strong employer brand presence online and offline.
oCoordinate recruitment marketing campaigns to attract potential candidates.
6.Compliance and Reporting:
oEnsure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
oMaintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and reports.
oProvide regular reports to senior management on recruitment metrics and performance.
7.On boarding:
oOversee the on boarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition.
oWork with HR and other departments to develop effective on boarding programs.
oMonitor and improve the on boarding experience based on feedback from new hires.
Requirements
Qualifications:
âBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
Master’s degree or HR certification preferred.
âProven experience in recruitment, with at least 2-3 years especially in retail industry.
âStrong knowledge of recruitment best practices, trends, and technologies.
âExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.
âAbility to lead and manage a team effectively.
âSolid organizational and project management skills.
âKnowledge of employment laws and regulations.
