Key Responsibilities

- Incoming Material Inspection: Verify raw materials (such as carbon steel, alloy steel, or stainless steel wire/coils) meet required grade and strength certifications. [1, 2, 3, 4]

- Dimensional & Functional Testing: Use accurate measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to check chain pitch, link thickness, and link diameter. [1, 2, 3]

- Mechanical Testing: Oversee or conduct proof load, breaking load, and elongation tests to ensure the chain performs under specified tension. [1, 2, 3, 4]

- In-Process Checks: Continuously monitor the manufacturing line—checking welding quality, heat treatment properties, and link forming—to catch defects early. [1, 2, 3, 4]

- Final Product Inspection: Conduct pre-shipment inspections on finished chain spools or bulk lengths for surface finish, coating (e.g., galvanizing),
