Develop and implement quality control plans, test procedures, and quality standards for genset assembly and testing.
- Inspections and testing:
Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of gensets and materials. Ensure performance and noise level testing are performed to specifications.
- Problem-solving:
Investigate and troubleshoot quality issues, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement both intermediate and permanent corrective actions.
- Process monitoring:
Monitor production processes to ensure they are running smoothly and complying with quality procedures and safety regulations.
- Data analysis:
Analyze quality performance data and test results to identify trends, generate reports, and recommend improvements.
- Collaboration:
Work with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, production, and management, to address quality issues and implement solutions.
- Supplier management:
Inspect and approve materials from suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Training:
Train junior engineers and other team members on quality control methods and procedures.
