Key Responsibilities

- Establish and monitor quality standards for jewellery manufacturing processes

- Ensure quality control at all stages: casting, filing, setting, polishing, plating, and final inspection

- Handle in-line and final quality audits to minimize rejections and rework

- Develop and implement SOPs, quality checklists, and inspection parameters

- Analyze defects, identify causes, and drive corrective and preventive actions

- Train and guide QC inspectors and production teams on quality standards

- Coordinate with production, design, and merchandising teams for quality alignment

- Ensure compliance with internal quality systems and customer requirements

- Maintain quality documentation,



reports, and MIS

- Monitor precious metal loss, wastage control, and finish consistency

Requirements

- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Jewellery Design, or relevant field

- Valuable grip on Quality tools - Kaizen, TQM etc

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance within the jewellery industry

- Strong knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes and quality parameters

- Experience in handling gold, diamond, or studded jewellery quality

- Good understanding of defect analysis, audits, and process improvement

- ​Strong communication, coordination, and team management skills
