The QA Manual Tester plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications. They are responsible for meticulously testing software, identifying and documenting defects, and ensuring that all systems meet the specified requirements and standards. This role is essential in maintaining high-quality products and a positive user experience for our customers.
Required Skills:· 5+ years of experience in Manual Testing· Testing of UI5/Fiori Apps· Experience in Jira and Zephyr· Test Case Creation / Test Case Execution / Bug Reporting in Jira tool· Experience in integration testing (nice to have)· Experience in BTP (nice to have)
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding software requirements and specifications
- Developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects
- Performing manual testing to ensure functionality, usability, and compatibility
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Creating test data and test environments
- Providing feedback on usability and functionality
- Participating in test planning and strategy development
- Reporting on testing progress and results
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and best practices
- Contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies
- Conducting regression testing when necessary
- Documenting test plans, procedures, and results
- Participating in peer reviews and inspections
- Working on multiple projects simultaneously
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience as a QA Manual Tester or similar role
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and practices
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques and tools
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Robust attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of test planning and strategy development
- Familiarity with Agile development processes
- Understanding of quality assurance principles and practices
- Certifications in software testing or quality assurance is a plus
- Experience with testing web and mobile applications
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing
