We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, and cost optimization for ongoing operations and projects. The role involves sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining strong vendor relationships while adhering to quality and cost standards.
Key Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end procurement of raw materials, consumables, and project-based requirements
Source and develop new vendors while maintaining relationships with existing suppliers
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost efficiency
Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) in line with company policies
Track orders and ensure timely delivery to avoid project delays
Coordinate with accounts teams for billing, GRN, and payment follow-ups
Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases accordingly
Compare quotations and prepare cost analysis reports
Ensure material quality compliance as per project or technical requirements
Maintain proper documentation of procurement records and vendor databases
Coordinate with internal teams including project, stores, and accounts departments
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field
2–4 years of experience in procurement/purchase functions
Preference for candidates from construction materials, chemicals, infrastructure, or building products industry
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Good understanding of purchase processes, GST, invoicing, and billing coordination
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
Strong communication and follow-up capabilities
Preferred Skills
Experience in procurement of building materials and construction-related works
Knowledge of costing and rate analysis
Ability to work in a quick-paced, project-driven environment
