Job Overview:

The Public Relations Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing PR strategies, managing media relations, and crafting compelling communications materials to enhance brand visibility and reputation. This role requires excellent writing, communication, and relationship-building skills, with a keen understanding of media and industry trends.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure media coverage and positive brand mentions.
- Press Release & Content Creation: Write press releases, media kits, newsletters, and other content that align with brand messaging and support marketing initiatives.
- Crisis Communication: Assist in developing strategies for managing brand reputation during crisis situations, preparing statements, and providing timely responses to the media.
- Event Support: Plan and coordinate PR events, press conferences, and product launches to maximize media coverage and engagement.




- PR Campaigns: Develop and execute PR campaigns to support product launches, brand announcements, and other major initiatives.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Track and analyze media coverage, providing regular reports on PR efforts, brand mentions, and campaign impact.
- Market & Industry Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and audience insights to help refine PR strategies and initiatives.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or communications.
- Proven track record of securing media placements and building media relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong editing abilities.
- Proficiency with media monitoring tools (e.g., Meltwater, Cision) and Microsoft Office Suite.
