Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our Turnkey 5.0 team based in Tiruchirapalli. The ideal candidate will possess 4-5 years of proven experience in managing all aspects of site execution, project coordination, billing processes, and manpower handling. This role demands strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to ensure the successful and timely completion of projects while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

- Site Management:
- Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure smooth workflow and efficient resource utilization.
- Monitor progress against the project schedule and proactively identify and address potential delays or issues.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with standards.
- Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, material inventory, and safety logs.

- Project Management:

- Assist the Project Manager in the overall planning, execution, and closure of projects.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and track milestones.
- Coordinate with internal teams (design, procurement, etc.) to ensure timely delivery of inputs and resources.
- Identify and manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.

- Billing:

- Manage the project billing process, including the preparation and submission of invoices.
- Verify contractor and vendor bills against work completed and contractual agreements.
- Track project costs and ensure adherence to the budget.




- Address billing-related queries and discrepancies in a timely manner.

- Manpower Handling:

- Plan and allocate manpower resources effectively to meet project requirements.
- Supervise and guide site teams, ensuring adherence to work instructions and safety protocols.
- Monitor team performance and address any performance-related issues.
- Coordinate with HR for recruitment, training, and other manpower-related activities.

- Communication and Coordination:

- Maintain explicit and effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Organize and participate in project meetings.
- Prepare and distribute relevant project documentation.

- Quality and Safety:

- Ensure strict adherence to quality control procedures and standards.
- Implement and enforce site safety regulations and procedures.
- Participate in safety audits and address any identified non-conformities.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- Minimum of 4-5 years of progressive experience in site management and project execution, preferably in a turnkey project environment.
- Proven experience in managing billing processes and cost control.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively handle and supervise manpower resources.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.1
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Willingness to2 be based in Tiruchirapalli and travel to project sites as required.
