We are inviting applications for the position of Professor (Cardiology) at a prestigious NMC‑recognized medical college / teaching hospital. The selected candidate will be responsible for academic leadership, clinical excellence, postgraduate training, and departmental development in Cardiology.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Department of Cardiology

- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching as per NMC guidelines

- Guide MD/DM residents in academics, research, and clinical practice

- Supervise OPD, IPD, ICU, Cath Lab, and advanced cardiac procedures

- Promote clinical research, publications, and academic activities

- Participate in institutional academic meetings, audits, and CMEs





- Ensure quality patient care and adherence to ethical medical standards

Requirements

- Qualification:

- DM / DNB (Cardiology) – Mandatory

- Experience:

- Minimum 14 years teaching experience after PG, including required years as Associate Professor (as per NMC norms)

- Registration:

- Valid NMC / State Medical Council registration

- Publications:

- As per latest NMC guidelines
