- Deploy manpower as per production planning
- Ensure optimum output
- Train workers as per the SOP
- Explain work instruction to shop floor workers
- Check the working skill and output
- Check and detect the faulty products
- Get test result from Lab
- Compare with standard parameters
- Note the deviations and initiate corrective actions
- Ensure calibration of equipments as per need
- Instruct the group in-charge/workers for proper upkeep
- Check the area randomly
- Ensure; keeping the right thing at right place
- Update on Rejection material/crap
- Clearing rejections/crap as per the needs
- Monitor and ensure the production floor is properly cleaned.
- Maintain the record as required by the department




- Keep its availability and irretrievability
- Preparation of reports and sending to concerned
- Ensuring marking of batches MRP etc where required
- Ensure material handling properly
- Avoid material waste
- Collecting materials from store required for production as per production plan well before production start to avoid time loss
- All safety measures to be kept in mind and followed
- At the end of the shift actions are taken to see that all inlets/outlets are sealed properly before leaving the factory for better safety.
- Ensuring required safety gadgets are properly used by the workers while on work.
