- Prepare detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) for each design/style.
- Create and maintain costing sheets for accurate price estimation and margin analysis.
- Coordinate with design, sourcing, and production teams to ensure accurate material planning and consumption tracking.
- Monitor daily production activities on the manufacturing line for infant/kids hosiery garments.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of raw materials as per the BOM.
- Analyze material usage vs. standard consumption and highlight variances.
- Maintain Excel-based MIS reports on costing, production, and inventory.
- Assist in production planning and scheduling to meet delivery timelines.
- Liaise with vendors for rate negotiation and material follow-up.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards at all levels of production.
Requirements
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in hosiery manufacturing, especially baby suits or kids wear.
- Robust expertise in preparing BOMs and cost sheets.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, etc.).
- Sound understanding of garment production processes, fabric consumption, and trims/accessories.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (preferred but not mandatory).
