Role and Responsibilities:
- Attend meetings with potential clients to determine technical and business requirements
- Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and within agreed timeframes
- Demonstrate product and technologies effectively to audiences of varied technical knowledge
- Create and deliver technical presentations internally and externally
- Deliver training on solutions and provide product support to channel partners and internal stakeholders
- Create internal design configuration documentation including network diagrams with technical explanations
- Provide feedback on issues with current products and input on new products to Product Management
- Build productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork
- Perform technical development for bespoke solutions, adhering to design and development framework
- Understand business drivers and customer risks
- Prepare comparison documents against competitors
- Sell technical solutions to customers with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Provide accurate and timely management information,
including activity reports, bid reviews, project forecasts, and KPIs
- Adhere to the company's Quality and Business Processes
- Produce compelling sales proposals/commercial and technical documentation outlining cost savings and business benefits to clients
- Assume responsibility for running bid teams, where relevant
- Interface with implementation/project team to ensure smooth transition from sale to delivery
Candidate Qualifications:
- In-depth working knowledge of TCP/IP v4 and understanding of TCP/IP v6
- Strong interest in Internet technologies, including routing, switching, and general network infrastructure
- Comfortable working with hosting technologies, such as Windows and Linux based server systems, network storage systems, data centre services, vmware, and hypervisor
- Working knowledge on Security Products and Solutions, such as UTM, Firewalls, DLP, Email Security, Antivirus & Antispam Solution, and MDM Solution
- Knowledge of Active Directory & Group Policies
- Knowledge of MSSQL Basic Installation & Management
- Industry-wise knowledge on product positioning
