Position: SAP PM(Plant Maintenance - S/4 HANA) Consultant

Relevant Exp: 4- 6 Years

Location: Bangalore/Chennai/Pune/Mumbai/Recent Delhi

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days

Role Overview The SAP PM Consultant (L2) is responsible for configuration, support, and functional delivery of SAP Plant Maintenance solutions. The role supports implementation and AMS projects, working under the guidance of L3/L4 consultants while independently handling assigned functional areas, issue resolution, and customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities

- SAP PM Functional Responsibilities

Configure and support core SAP PM processes including:

Technical Objects (Equipment, Functional Locations) Maintenance Notifications

Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance

Maintenance Orders (Corrective, Preventive, Refurbishment)Task Lists and

Maintenance Plans Support master data creation, validation, and governance in SAP PM.

- Implementation & Support Activities Participate in Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run phases of SAP projects.

Perform unit testing, integration testing support, and UAT defect resolution.

Provide day‑to‑day AMS support including:

Incident analysis and resolution

Change requests and enhancements

Root cause analysis and solution documentation

- Integration Support

Work closely with other modules such as:

MM (spare parts, procurement, inventory)

FI/CO (cost postings, settlements)

PP (where maintenance impacts production)





Support end‑to‑end maintenance and asset management scenarios.

- Documentation & Quality

Prepare and update

Functional specifications

Configuration documents

Test cases and test results

User guides and training materials

Ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology and internal quality standards.

- Stakeholder & User Support

Interact with business users to understand issues and provide functional guidance.

Support user training, knowledge transfer, and handover activities.

Escalate complex issues to L3/L4 consultants when required with proper analysis.

Required Skills & Experience

4–6 years of SAP PM experience (S/4 HANA Green Field implementations Good to have Public/Private Cloud Implementations).

Hands‑on experience with

Maintenance processing and work management

Preventive maintenance planning

Breakdown maintenance scenarios

Basic integration knowledge with MM and FI.

Exposure to SAP S/4HANA PM is preferred.

Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
