PLSQL Developer:-
We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Database Developer with a minimum of 5 years of expertise in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in SQL and PL/SQL programming, encompassing packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, indexes, and exception handling. Proficiency in creating database objects like tables, views, sequences, synonyms, and indexes using Oracle tools such as SQLPlus, SQL Developer, and Toad is essential. The candidate should possess a strong working knowledge of loading data using SQLLoader and PL/SQL with different file formats. Moreover, the candidate should have a proven track record of trouble-shooting, query optimization, and performance tuning using explain plans.
Experience with advanced Oracle features, including Ref-Cursors, PL/SQL Tables, Materialized Views, Dynamic SQL, and Oracle RAC, is highly desirable.
The Senior Oracle Database
Developer will be responsible for writing scheduler jobs and handling issue resolution in the event of any failures. The candidate should have the ability to analyze application requirements and provide recommended designs, as well as support code migration from development to staging environments. Strong skills in writing complex SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures to extract data from various source tables are required. The candidate should be capable of working independently and collaboratively, delivering high-quality results under pressure and tight deadlines.
Requirements
1. Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC):
- Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirement gathering, analysis, application design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
- SQL and PL/SQL Programming
- Demonstrate extensive expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming, encompassing packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, indexes, and exception handling.
- Create and manage database objects such as tables, views, sequences, synonyms, and indexes using Oracle tools like SQL*Plus, SQL Developer, and Toad.
- Data Loading and File Formats:
- Apply a strong working knowledge of loading data using SQL*Loader and PL/SQL with different file formats.
- Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning
- Utilize extensive experience in trouble-shooting, query optimization, and performance tuning, using explain plans to optimize query execution.
- Advanced Oracle Features
- Utilize Ref-Cursors, PL/SQL Tables, Materialized Views, Dynamic SQL, and Oracle RAC for efficient data processing and system performance.
