:

Plant Operations

- Ensure smooth and continuous operation of WTP units including intake systems, clarification, filtration, and disinfection.

- Monitor plant performance parameters (flow, turbidity, pH, residual chlorine, etc.).

- Ensure treated water quality meets statutory and client specifications.

- Optimize chemical dosing and power consumption.

2. Maintenance Management

- Plan and implement preventive & predictive maintenance schedules.

- Oversee mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance activities.

- Ensure timely breakdown resolution to minimize downtime.

- Maintain critical spares inventory and AMC coordination.

3. Team Leadership

- Supervise shift engineers, operators, technicians, and support staff.

- Prepare duty rosters and ensure manpower availability.

- Conduct training for operational safety and efficiency.

- Maintain discipline and safety culture at plant site.

4. Quality & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with Pollution Control Board norms and statutory regulations.

- Maintain plant documentation, logbooks, and reporting systems.





- Coordinate audits and inspections.

- Implement ISO, safety, and environmental standards (if applicable).

5. Reporting & Coordination

- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports to management.

- Coordinate with client representatives and local authorities.

- Monitor plant KPIs and implement improvement initiatives.

- Support project head in budgeting and cost control.

6. Safety & Risk Management

- Enforce safety procedures and PPE usage.

- Conduct safety drills and toolbox talks.

- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans.

Required Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Environmental Engineering

- Minimum 8–15 years of experience in WTP/STP/ETP operations

- Minimum 3–5 years in a leadership/plant head role

- Solid knowledge of pumps, blowers, clarifiers, filters, chemical dosing systems, PLC/SCADA systems
