Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough clinical evaluations of patients presenting with musculoskeletal injuries or disorders.

- Assist in the diagnosis of conditions such as fractures, dislocations, joint degeneration, and soft tissue injuries using clinical judgment and diagnostic tools.

- Interpret radiological imaging (X-rays, CT scans, MRIs) to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

- Participate in surgical procedures under supervision, including fracture fixation, joint aspiration, and minimally invasive techniques.

- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including medical histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.

- Collaborate with physiotherapists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive rehabilitation strategies.

- Stay updated with current orthopaedic guidelines, best practices, and emerging surgical techniques.

- Assist in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, including monitoring recovery and managing complications.





- Contribute to case discussions, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives within the department.

Requirements

- MBBS degree with a strong academic record and completion of internship.

- Solid understanding of human anatomy, particularly the musculoskeletal system (bones, joints, ligaments, muscles).

- Proficiency in clinical diagnosis of orthopaedic conditions, including trauma and degenerative diseases.

- Familiarity with basic surgical techniques and instrumentation used in orthopaedic procedures.

- Ability to interpret X-rays, CT scans, and MRI reports with accuracy and clinical relevance.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration.

- Commitment to continuous learning and career development in orthopaedic medicine.

- Willingness to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with rotating shifts and on-call duties.

- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and digital documentation tools.
