We are looking for a highly experienced OpenText ECM Engineer with strong expertise in OpenText Content Server Cloud (xECM/SaaS) and OpenText InfoArchive to design, implement, manage, and support enterprise-scale content and archival solutions. The role focuses on content lifecycle management, integration, archival strategy, and platform optimisation, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions aligned with business processes—particularly within insurance domains such as claims and policy management.

The candidate will take end-to-end ownership across development, administration, enhancements, support (L2/L3), and SDLC compliance, while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and compliant ECM and archiving solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and administer OpenText Content Server Cloud (xECM) and InfoArchive platforms.
- Design and implement content lifecycle solutions including ingestion, storage, indexing, archival, and retrieval.
- Build and maintain enterprise integrations and APIs across ECM, InfoArchive, and third-party systems.
- Support data migration and archival strategies from ECM to InfoArchive, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
- Configure and manage metadata models, categories, retention policies, and archival rules.
- Develop WebReports and LiveReports for reporting, automation, and operational insights.
- Ensure system performance, scalability, and security across ECM and archive platforms.
- Provide production support (L2/L3), including incident troubleshooting, RCA, and system stabilisation.




- Work with Infrastructure, Database, Network, and Security teams to resolve performance and integration issues.
- Participate in SDLC processes, including deployment, testing, release management, and governance.

Technical Summary

- 5–10+ years of experience in OpenText ECM / Content Server development and InfoArchive operations.
- Strong expertise in OpenText Content Server Cloud (xECM) and InfoArchive, covering end-to-end content lifecycle and archival solutions.
- Hands-on experience managing OTDS, Archive/InfoArchive, Brava, Capture Center, and VRD integrations.
- Proficient in developing WebReports and LiveReports for reporting, automation, and operational insights.
- Experience building and maintaining REST APIs for OpenText Content Server integrations with external applications.
- Solid experience in data migration and archive strategies, ensuring high data integrity, compliance, and minimal downtime.
- Strong capability in handling custom development, enhancements, and batch processing (Control-M, Bulk Capture, workflows).
- Expertise in on-premises and cloud deployments, including containerised environments (Kubernetes) and OpenText Cloud.
- Skilled in system monitoring, performance tuning, and proactive issue resolution across ECM and archive platforms.
- Experience with PowerShell and Python automation for operational efficiency and maintenance tasks.
- Robust troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to manage critical production incidents in high-pressure environments.
