Primary Role

- This role involves directly overseeing and managing the operation of the ETP plant, ensuring it functions correctly, and addressing any issues that arise to maintain compliance and efficiency. This is a critical function in managing environmental safety and compliance within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Adequate knowledge of Legal Documentation.
- Preparation of Form -3, Form-4, Form-5, Monthly Patrak etc.
- Be aware of significant environmental aspects associated with their EHS department and related operational control procedures to be followed.
- Trouble shooting of existing ETP plant & its operation.
- Preparation of Compliance Report, Environment Audit Report, Water and Air Monitoring.
- Conduct ETP Observations to monitor effluent quality & make recommendation for improvement.
- Maintain records of ETP & MEE plant operation
- Preparation of Hazardous Waste Manifest in XGN Site and maintain the data.
- Set up of Environmental Laboratory & Lab Analysis for different parameters of Water & Wastewater like

COD, BOD, MLVSS, pH, MLSS, MLVSS, Total Hardness, and Chlorides etc.

- Maintaining Documents as per OHSAS 45001 & ISO 14001.




- Prepare & revise of Legal Register, In office emergency plan, EHS Policy, Safety Manual, Departmental

Objective, SOP, Work instruction, Checklist etc. & updating of the same.

- Organizing Internal / external OHSAS 45001 & ISO 14001 Audit & Compliance to Audit recommendations.
- Any specific task given by EHS dept.

Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) Operations Audit and quality assurance

Environmental Reporting and Monitoring Knowledge of OHSAS 45001 & ISO 14001

Key Skills

▪ Bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, PDIS, with 1 to 5 years of experience

▪ Minimum 2 year relevant experience in chemical industry

▪ Ability to conduct hazard assessments and risk analyses.

▪ Able to handle ETP & MEE Plant operation.

▪ Conducting lab analyses for various water and wastewater parameters (COD, BOD, MLVSS, pH, MLSS, total hardness, chlorides).

▪ Knowledge in hazardous waste management and data maintenance on XGN sites.

▪ Strong communication skills for coordinating with EHS departments and managing stakeholders.

▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
