Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator with 5+ years of experience to oversee, manage, and maintain our network systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network administration, including the configuration, support, and troubleshooting of network devices and services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

- Management of wireless infrastructure (Access point and wireless controller)

- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability, bandwidth and reliability.

- Proficiency in Palo Alto, Fortigate and Cisco FTD firewalls.

- Perform network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.

- Troubleshoot network issues and outages and provide timely resolutions.

- Maintain and administer network management systems and tools.

- Network devices upgrade, update.

- Managing compliance like ISO 27001:2013 for Network infrastructure

- Implement and manage VPN, WAN, and LAN connections.

- Management and monitoring of Network monitoring Tools like Solarwind

- Coordinate with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of network and server infrastructure.

- Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.

- Co-ordinate with Network Security monitoring team for Incident resolution

- Ensure compliance with network policies, standards, and security protocols.

- Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data from unauthorized access and cyber threats.

- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.





- Develop and maintain documentation for network systems, procedures, and configurations.

- Technically valuable in IPSEC tunnel creation and troubleshooting.

- Knowledge of Remote access VPN, Clientless VPN, NAT and ACL

- Knowledge of next generation features like threat intelligent, threat prevention, content filtering, DLP, User-identification

- In-depth knowledge of OSI Layers, Internet Protocol, TCP/IP

- Ability to work independently and confidently

- Provide technical support and guidance to end users and other staff.

- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.

- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in network administration.

- Monitor system performance and respond to alerts.

- Document support activities, solutions, and procedures.

Requirements

Required Skills

- 5+ years of experience in network administration or a similar role.

- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field

- Proficiency in configuring and managing network security devices like Cisco FTD, Palo Alto FW, FortiGate FW.

- Proficiency in configuring and managing wireless infrastructure.

- Strong understanding of network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).

- Experience with network security practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.

- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.).

- Knowledge of virtualization and cloud networking is a plus.

- Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
