- MBBS degree with a postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics (DCH or MD Pediatrics) or equivalent.
- Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Completion of a recognized neonatology fellowship or training program (preferred, but not mandatory for fresher candidates with solid academic performance).
- Strong foundational knowledge of neonatal physiology, pathology, and pharmacology.
- Proficiency in neonatal resuscitation protocols (NRP certification is highly desirable).
- Excellent clinical decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in high-stakes, time-sensitive situations.
- Commitment to patient-centered care, ethical practice, and continuous learning.
- Willingness to work in a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and on-call duties.
