1.Study and enhance vendor capacity for higher / existing volume for existing / current models of Motorcycles as needed
- Knowledge of Material accounting / PIV (Perpetual Inventory Verification) system and take care of external / internal audits
- Ensure availability of capacity at vendor end to fulfil the required components as per plan
- Knowledge about various manufacturing processes and systems required for automobile products, mainly Press components and fabrication components
5.Knowledge of inventory management and stores management function and systems related to SAP- MM & PP module
5.Knowledge related to excise and custom formalities

5. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Plan and procure vendor components as per monthly production plan of models of Motorcycles.
- Ensure availability of components as per shift wise / daily production plan in terms of Quantity and Quality
- Plan and execute changes in production plan related with cross functional departments in the plant and Vendors
4.Plan and coordinate smooth receipt and issue of vendor components to user dept in the plant as per requirement, to avoid losses.
- Monitor Inventory and control within management norms.
6.Plan and execute outsourcing activity as per management guidelines.
7.Monitor transport cost of vendor material and target to reduce by applying various techniques e.g. Milk route run, 3PL (Third party logistics) etc.
8.Plan and resolve GST related issues in material procurement.
