Position: Metal Fabricator - Aerospace UAV Manufacturing

About the Role

Join our innovative UAV manufacturing team as a Metal Fabricator. You will fabricate precision metal components and assemblies for our advanced Large fixed-wing UAVs, working with aluminium, steel, and titanium alloys to aerospace specifications.

Key Responsibilities

· Fabricate metal components using sheet metal forming, bending, and cutting operations

· Perform precision drilling, countersinking, and debarring operations

· Execute riveting, bolting, and mechanical fastening assembly operations

· Machine metal parts using manual and semi-automatic equipment

· Perform fitting and alignment of structural assemblies

· Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools

· Maintain tooling and equipment in proper working condition

Requirements





Required Qualification

· High school diploma or technical certification in machining/fabrication

· 3+ years of experience in metal fabrication (aerospace preferred)

· Proficiency with sheet metal tools, brake presses, and forming equipment

· Experience with aluminum alloys and aerospace materials

· Ability to read blueprints, GD&T;, and engineering specifications

· Knowledge of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM)

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with aircraft structural repair and modifications

· Knowledge of aviation fasteners and hardware

· TIG/MIG welding certification

· Experience with AS9100 quality requirements
