: Occupational Health Physician

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Health Physician to provide high-quality medical care to our client's employees. The ideal candidate will deliver episodic, preventive, and acute health care services while demonstrating expertise in occupational health practices and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Essential Functions

- Provide comprehensive episodic, preventive, and acute health care services to patients.

- Administer occupational health services, including physicals, occupational surveillance, medical monitoring, and return-to-work evaluations in designated health centers.

- Conduct thorough histories and physical examinations, prescribe medications, and recommend medical treatments based on best practice standards.

- Collaborate with patients to develop personalized treatment plans, educate them about medical issues, and provide necessary advice.

- Facilitate internal and external referrals to appropriate medical resources or specialists.

- Evaluate the effectiveness of medical care, monitor patient progress, and identify emergency situations, providing care following client Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

- Contribute to the development of annual clinic goals and objectives.

- Maintain accurate medical records,



utilizing Electronic Medical Record software where applicable.

- Formulate and administer health programs as needed to enhance overall employee well-being.

- Perform other duties as assigned to support the healthcare team and organization.

Required Qualifications
- MBBS degree from an accredited medical school.

- Minimum of 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in occupational healthcare, primary care, urgent care, or emergency room settings.

- Registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or relevant State Medical Council.

- Current certification in Basic Life Support for healthcare providers; Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification may be required based on contract scope of services.

- Proficiency in Internet software, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing software.

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records.

- Familiarity with workplace health and safety concepts and OHSAS regulations.
