We are seeking an experienced Land Acquisition Manager from the solar or renewable energy industry to lead land sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and acquisition for utility-scale solar projects in Rajasthan. The role involves close coordination with local authorities, landowners, legal teams, and project development teams to ensure timely and compliant land acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, evaluate, and secure suitable land parcels for solar project development across Rajasthan

- Conduct feasibility assessments including land suitability, topography, accessibility, and grid connectivity proximity

- Build strong relationships with landowners, government authorities, revenue department officials, and local stakeholders

- Lead negotiations for land purchase, lease, or right-of-use agreements while ensuring cost efficiency

- Ensure compliance with state land acquisition laws, regulations, and documentation requirements

- Coordinate due diligence activities including title verification, legal clearances, and dispute resolution

- Maintain detailed records, land databases, and acquisition status reports

- Liaise with internal project development, legal, engineering,



and finance teams to support project execution

- Mitigate risks related to land disputes, encumbrances, and regulatory challenges

- Monitor policy updates related to Rajasthan solar policies, land regulations, and government guidelines

Requirements

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Land Management, Engineering, Law, or related field

- 7–15 years of relevant experience in land acquisition in the solar/renewable/infrastructure sector

- Strong understanding of Rajasthan land records, revenue systems, and government processes

- Proven experience in negotiating large land parcels for utility-scale projects

Key Skills & Competencies

- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills

- Strong understanding of land laws, legal documentation, and compliance

- Good communication in Hindi & English (knowledge of Rajasthani dialects is an advantage)

- Ability to work independently and travel extensively across project locations

- Problem-solving mindset and solid ethical standards
