Monitoring and control of specific production operations, Product handling, packaging, product identification and co-ordination for dispatch activities with QC/QA/SCM. Monitoring and maintenance of raw material / Product inventory in co-ordination with seniors.
Achieving the production targets. Production, raw material planning in co-ordination with Supply chain management.
Maintenance of Production equipment in coordination with Engineering and maintenance Department.
Maintenance of spares in coordination with Engineering and maintenance Department.
Monitoring of Isolators.
Monitoring the process efficiencies.
Plant and Machinery modifications or Improvements.
Providing resources for implementation related to the process.
Costing and Budgeting for Production Department.
Responsible for giving objectives and proper utilization of down the line production personnel.
Guiding function related to operation for better CGMP and production.
Setting production targets in coordination with Marketing and Sales department. Adherence to Good manufacturing practices.
Report and Investigation of non-conformities and adherence to the corrective / preventive actions for OOT, OOS, Deviations, Customer Complaints and Product recalls.
Authorized to raise and review the Change Control and Deviation Reports. Authorized to prepare, issue and review quality documents.
Maintenance of production related documents and quality records.
Imparting training to the below hierarchy level on SOP's, EOP's, IOP's, and Process related aspects to maintain quality and consistency in Production.
Traceability from finished product to raw materials.
Adherence to safety, Health and Workplace norms and pollution control.
To follow the established procedures and policies of the company pertaining to EHS management system.
To understand the implications of not following the defined procedures with respect to EHS.
To attend the Safety Committee meetings.
Establishing EHS objectives, targets and management programs in the department. Propagating EHS Management System awareness to all the personnel in the department.
Guiding all departmental personnel in the preparation of departmental activity, hazard and risk assessment register, aspect /impact register and reviewing the adequacy. Reviewing the progress / status of EHS objectives & targets periodically; reporting the progress & implementation effectiveness of the management programs to the MR / MA. Co-ordination for preparation of HAZOP study.
Approval of routine activities in SAP. Initiation of corrective and preventive actions against non-conformance.
Overall coordination with other departments related to production activities. Adherence to Quality Policy and Quality Management System.
To coordinate with QA for all the validation, qualification and Audit preparedness."
