Description and requirements

Transportation Management

- Plan and manage domestic and international shipments via road, sea, air, and rail.
- Negotiate contracts and freight rates with carriers and freight forwarders.
- Monitor shipment tracking and resolve transit delays.
- Optimize transport routes, loads, and schedules for cost efficiency.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for delivery performance and freight cost control. Customs & Compliance
- Ensure import/export activities comply with national and international regulations.
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate customs documentation (invoices, packing lists, HS codes, certificates of origin, etc.).
- Liaise with customs brokers and regulatory agencies to expedite clearance.
- Stay updated on tariff changes, trade agreements, and customs procedures.
- Manage compliance risks, avoiding delays, penalties, and non-compliance issues. Warehouse Operations:
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, kitting, and distribution of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
- Ensure that materials are readily available for production, minimizing downtime.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment to support manufacturing processes.

Leadership & Coordination

- Manage and develop warehouse, transport, and customs teams.




- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and production teams to align supply chain activities.
- Train staff on SOPs, compliance requirements, and safety protocols. Process Optimization:
- Continuously evaluate warehouse and Logistics management operations for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with production needs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and lean practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices to enhance the manufacturing supply chain. Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and lead a team of warehouse and Logistics personnel.
- Set performance expectations and provide continuous coaching and development.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and accountability. Vendor and Supplier Relations:
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and negotiate service agreements as needed. Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with transportation and customs compliance.
- Develop and implement contingency plans for disruptions in the supply chain.
- Manage insurance policies and claims related to transportation and customs. Cost Control and Budgeting:
- Develop and manage budgets for transportation and customs compliance operations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce expenses.
