Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Supply Chain Management:
- Oversees the entire supply chain process, from raw material procurement to finished product delivery.
- Develops and implements strategies to optimize the flow of materials and minimize costs.
- Coordinates with suppliers, vendors, and customers to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials.

- Transportation Planning and Management:

- Develops and manages transportation plans for inbound and outbound materials.
- Selects appropriate modes of transportation (e.g., rail, road, water) based on factors such as cost, efficiency, and environmental impact.
- Coordinates with transportation providers to ensure timely and effective delivery.

- Inventory Management:

- Develops and implements inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize costs.
- Monitors inventory levels and adjusts as needed to meet production requirements and avoid stockouts.
- Implements inventory tracking and control systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

- Warehouse Management:

- Oversees the operations of warehouses and storage facilities.
- Ensures proper storage, handling, and preservation of materials.
- Implements efficient warehouse layout and organization to maximize space utilization.

- Material Handling and Storage:





- Selects and implements appropriate material handling equipment and systems.
- Ensures safe and efficient handling and storage of materials.
- Develops and implements procedures for material handling and storage to prevent damage and loss.

- Packaging and Labeling:

- Oversees packaging and labeling operations to ensure products are properly packaged and labeled for transportation and storage.
- Ensures compliance with packaging and labeling regulations.

- Customs and Compliance:

- Ensures compliance with customs regulations and import/export procedures.
- Manages import and export documentation.
- Coordinates with customs authorities and brokers.

- Cost Control and Optimization:

- Develops and implements strategies to reduce logistics costs.
- Negotiates with transportation providers and suppliers to obtain favorable rates.
- Analyzes logistics data to identify areas for improvement.

- Technology Implementation:

- Implements logistics technology solutions, such as transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Utilizes technology to improve efficiency, visibility, and decision-making.
