We're seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer (React Native) to lead our mobile app development team, overseeing project lifecycle, architecting scalable solutions and mentoring engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Lead mobile app development, guiding architecture, design and implementation.
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines, milestones and resource allocation.
- React Native Expertise: Develop, optimize and maintain high-performance React Native applications.
- Team Management: Mentor, coach and supervise junior engineers.
- Collaboration: Work with designers, QA, backend teams and stakeholders.
- Code Quality: Establish coding standards, conduct code reviews.
- Performance Optimization: Enhance application performance, removing constraints.
- UI Implementation: Oversee pixel-perfect UI implementations aligning with design specifications.
- Native API Integration: Utilize native APIs for seamless platform integration.
- Migration: Lead React Web App migrations to React Native.
- Agile Methodology:
Guide team members in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Bug Resolution: Oversee bug identification and resolution processes.
- Release Management: Manage iOS/Google Play Store releases.
Requirements
- Experience: 10+ years software development, 5+ years React Native.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/related field.
- Technical Skills: React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, Redux, RESTful APIs.
- Leadership: Proven team lead/management experience.
- Communication: Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Object-Oriented Programming: Robust understanding.
- Testing: Experience with Jest, Detox, Cypress.
- Cloud Platforms: Understanding of AWS/Azure integration.
Nice-to-Have
- AWS/Azure certifications (relevant areas).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Familiarity with native build tools (Xcode, Gradle).
- Offline Storage, REST APIs and data request models knowledge.
