The Junior Lawyer will support the legal team in managing litigation, legal documentation and dispute resolution related to the company’s land bank and joint ventures with real estate companies. The role includes drafting, negotiating, and reviewing legal documents, ensuring compliance with real estate laws, and assisting in litigation and revenue matters involving land transactions and joint ventures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Litigation and Non Litigation Support:

Assist in managing litigation and non litigation matters, including disputes related to land transactions, joint venture agreements, and property rights.

- Legal Research

Conduct thorough legal research on property laws, land use regulations, revenue matters and joint venture agreements to support the litigation team.

- Drafting Legal Documents

Prepare and review pleadings, agreements, legal opinions, notices, and responses related to land acquisitions, joint ventures, and real estate disputes.

- Contract Management

Assist in reviewing, negotiating, and drafting joint venture agreements, sale deeds, lease agreements, and other real estate contracts.

- Case Management

Maintain accurate case files and documentation, ensuring proper records of all legal proceedings and court filings related to land and real estate disputes.

- Client & Internal Communication:





Liaise with external legal counsel, real estate partners, and internal departments to provide updates on ongoing litigation and negotiate settlements.

- Regulatory Compliance

Ensure the company’s real estate and joint venture transactions comply with local, state, and national laws, including RERA and other relevant regulations and for revenue matters

- Discovery Process

Assist in gathering documents, evidence, and discovery requests related to ongoing cases, ensuring proper organization and timely submissions.

- Due Diligence

Conduct due diligence on land ownership, titles, encumbrances, and zoning regulations before entering joint ventures or executing land transactions.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a reputed institution.

- 2-6 years of experience in real estate/property law and litigation preferred.

- Experience with high court and lower court -level depositions and litigation processes.

- Strong understanding of real estate transactions, contracts, and property law.

- Should have prior work experience in law firm,law chamber and legal councils.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Robust written and verbal communication skills.
