We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Junior Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for bookkeeping. As a Junior Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations for our US clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including data entry, reconciling accounts, and managing transactions.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements with internal records to ensure accuracy.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and follow-up on overdue accounts.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Client Communication: Collaborate with the team to provide timely updates and responses to client inquiries.
- Compliance:
Ensure all financial practices comply with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Support: Provide support to the Senior Bookkeeper and Team Leader as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of bookkeeping experience, preferably with US clients.
- Knowledge of US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
